MALES VS FEMALES
I am often asked which sex is best as a pet and the answer to that is BOTH. What sex you wish to own is your preference but both sexes have very endearing qualities. Males tend to be a little more happy-go-lucky than the females. The females are very sweet as well. Males will normally not learn to raise their leg and mark their territory if they are neutered at a young age. They do very well at housebreaking and can sometimes be easier. No matter the sex you must stay consistent to have a house-trained dog. Males are normally priced lower than females due to the fact that most people prefer a female because they buy into the myth that males always raise their leg in the house. This is not true. A house-broke dog is just that..a house-broke dog! Please consider a male if you have never owned one. They are just as easy to love and just as easy to train. |
Please be prepared for your new puppy to arrive home. You will need the following things.
1) A puppy pen to contain your puppy while away or when not able to watch your puppy. You can also use a crate for the puppy to go to sleep in but its not a must. A nice bed is fine in the puppy pen.
2) A bed that's nice and comfy with sides to make her feel cuddled like her litter mates and mom did.
3) Dishes for food and water that's left all the time until older.
4) Toys that will keep puppy busy and help with teething.
5) A good no grain food if you don't use the one we tell you about.
6) Pee pads or news paper to help house train your puppy or if you choose to crate train have the crate ready.
7) If you leave your baby for work etc leave some music or TV on for the pup.
